Electronic Design Cycle – A typical overview of a product design cycle, what needs to be considered and some of the pitfalls with new product development, including those things that can be forgotten; enclosure design, field testing, CE marking, funding routes.
Show and Tell – We will bring some of our products and talk through some of the processes that went into making them come to life.
Open Discussion – Invite an open discussion from the attendees on their own ideas and problems and discuss possible solutions.
Learning objectives - By the end of the workshop you will have learnt about the pros and cons of electronic product design, how to navigate the design cycle, apply it to your product and avoid the common pitfalls. Paul has been in electronic development for the entirety of his career. In 2012 Cubik Innovation was established and six years on, Cubik are a team of technical and creative members with client lists spanning Bristol’s inventors; to multinational companies. One of Paul’s biggest passions is helping to develop the talents of our engineers.
