Nuclear South West
Nuclear South West is the nuclear cluster for the South West of England.
|Area Served:||Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, South Glos|
The South West is set to become a nuclear hub in the next two decades, with 15 projects worth £50 billion to our economy.
Nuclear South West provides a platform for businesses to understand and take advantage of new opportunities. Its mission is to position the South West nuclear industry at the centre of the global nuclear arena by driving productivity and growth. Nuclear South West will ensure that the South West is recognised for its capability in the nuclear industry, is able to grow that ability, and that businesses in the region achieve a large percentage of the work coming from the opportunities in the nuclear industry over the next 20 years. The cluster is a partnership of industry and key stakeholders and was set up in recognition of the area’s unique potential for transformational growth through the nuclear sector. It operates in two halves:
- Industry Network - the nuclear industry membership platform for businesses in, or wishing to join, the nuclear industry supply chain.
- The Stakeholder Advisory Group - key public/private stakeholders who are working together to ensure the region is best prepared to support and grow the industry over the coming decades.
