CVS South Gloucestershire provide a range of advice and support to local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across South Gloucestershire to help group and organisations form, grow and evolve.

Cost Explanation: All services offer a free initial consultation. Charges per hour thereafter, typically ranging between £30-£45.

*Governance support/training starts at £150 for a half-day session (with free consultation)

CVS South Gloucestershire can support your group through a range of services provided by their skilled staff and Associates.  Additionally, CVS will keep you up to date with the latest news, funding, jobs and volunteering opportunities across the area and help you promote your work – whether it’s events, jobs or training courses.

Support services available from CVS include:

Executive Coaching: supportive peer to peer service that aims to help you to share problems and concerns and identify solutions in a confidential space outside of your organisation structures.

Funding advice: Support with your funding application and strategy to help increase chances of success.

Organisation Development: Support with community consultations, sustainable funding, developing partnerships and collaborations and working with the private sector to maximise in-kind support and developing effective long term relationships.

Governance: Trustees and Management Committees collectively hold the legal responsibility for their Charity, group or organisation

Financial management: Designed to help you to feel confident your organisations finances and make sure you have the financial controls in place appropriate for your turn over.  Includes review of financial management systems, advice of the best systems to suit your organisation, development of full cost recovery budget and reporting training.
