Before you start exporting you need to decide where. Don't try and sell everywhere at once, but start small and build.

Although success can never be guaranteed, you can increase the chances of your venture working by carrying out extensive and detailed research.

The following questions will help guide your thinking:

Your market research will show whether or not exporting to a particular country is sustainable and worth the time and financial investment.

Do not underestimate the value of research. The more time you spend at this stage of the process, the less likely you are of making expensive mistakes further on down the line.
